On Thursday the under 16s were at home to Letterkenny Gaels. Injuries and holidays meant we only had the bare minimum of 11 players. But these 11 lads showed great commitment and fought for every ball and despite being up against a physically stronger Letterkenny team they ran out worthy winners 1-10 to 0-4. With such a small panel we are in for a difficult season, but hopefully we'll field for all the games. This Thursday we're away to a strong Four Masters team.
