Underage hurlers' trip to All-Ireland semi-final
47 underage hurlers enjoyed a great days hurling in Croke Park on Sunday last as part of Aodh Ruadh's annual underage trip to Croke Park. As they entered the famous stadium, they were delighted to meet with Antrim manager Dinny Cahill who congratulated them on their achievements this year. The lads enjoyed two very good games and they also got great pleasure from seeing their club mate Brendan Gillespie taking part in the INTO exhibition at half time. Brendan played very well in the Tipperary colours and did his club, school (Creevy) and family proud in becoming the first Aodh Ruadh hurler to take part in these exhibition games in Croke Park. After the senior game, the lads got their by now customary group photograph on the hallowed turf of croke park. The whole group were very well behaved and a credit to the club. Thanks to all who made this trip possible.
