Underage hurlers test themselves at Owenbeg

Underage Hurling
21 April 2012

On Saturday morning our under 8s, 10s and 12s were delighted to take part in a Derry county board blitz at the Derry centre of excellence at Owenbeg, near Dungiven. All three teams gave a great account of themselves and are sure to learn from the experience of playing high quality teams. The under 8s won their two games against Banagher and Muff. The under 10s played four games beating Burt, drawing with Lavey and losing to Kevin Lynch's and Slaughtneil. The under 12s played three games defeating Eoghan Rua, Coleraine and Muff and drawing with Banagher. All teams had a great day and also had the pleasure of meeting Antrim and Loughgiel star Liam Watson. They also got their photos taken with the Tommy Moore cup. Thanks to managers Pauric Keenaghan, Dennis Daly, Eddie Lynch and Michael Ayres for bringing the lads up thanks also to Liam Gilmartin for helping out. Thanks to Eddie Lynch for the pictures below.
