Aodh Ruadh, Ballyshannon, retained their county under 14 B hurling title when they came from behind twice to overcome a valiant Gaoth Dobhair side in Glenties on Tuesday evening.

Playing with the wind in the first half, Gaoth Dobhair led at half-time and the second half was a close affair right up to the end. Referee, Tommy Brennan presented the under 14 Shield to man of the match and winning captain, Dermot Breslin, after the game and he praised both teams for a clean, sporting match.
