Aodh Ruadh got their 2010 league campaign off to a good start when they took on a strong Malin side last Friday, 2nd April. In adverse weather conditions, it was a hard fought battle from beginning to end, with just two points in it at half time when the score line read, Aodh Ruadh 0-6 Malin 0-4. However in the second half Aodh Ruadh managed to hold Malin to just one point. The game finished 0-14 to 0-5. The team on the day was:Marita Maguire; Catherine Lloyd, Niamh Gallagher, Karol Foley; Grainne McCosker, Annette Lloyd, Katie Flood; Tanya O'Shea, Sarah Patton; Marita Leonard, Donna Martin, Emma McPhelim; Fionnuala Gill, Lorraine Roper, Donna Rogers. Andrea Rogers replaced Lorraine Roper who sustained an injury in the first half.
