Aodh Ruadh marked Lá na gClub on Sunday 8th May at Father Tierney Park. Ballyshannon Brass and Reed Band lead a procession to the park where club chairman Gerard Ferguson addressed the assembly before club president Owen Roe O'Neill raised the flag. That was followed by a reading of the 1916 proclamation, stirringly orated by Sylvester Maguire.
