Ballyshannon get first secondary league points

Senior Football Secondary League
29 May 2010
Aodh Ruadh 1-14
McCumhaill's 1-6

Aodh Ruadh overcame a bright opening by MacCumhaill's to run out 1-14 to 1-6 winners against Ballybofey in Father Tierney Park. A well-worked goal from Ciron Whoriskey helped Aodh Ruadh overcome MacCumhaill's early flurry to go in with a six point cushion at half time. Defensively, Johnny Gallagher was in typically composed form, while Fiachra McIntyre got through an ocean of work at midfield. Turlough McIntyre had a fine match in the forward line and worked very hard as Sticky Ward was his ever consistent self.
