Strong finish seals the points against Urris

Aodh Ruadh went on a goal-scoring spree in the final 15 minutes of their tie with Urris on Saturday evening to clinch an important home win.
The visitors started off the better when they went into a four point lead, including a goal by corner forward Mark McLaughlin who with Alan Friel (0-2) was causing Aodh Ruadh a few headaches. Dean Kelly also got on the score sheet for Urris with two converted frees.
But Aodh Ruadh came from behind thanks to scores from Michael Ward (1-1), Diarmuid McInerney (0-2,1f), David Dolan (0-2) and Ciron Whoriskey (0-1) to draw level 1-6 a piece at half-time.
Urris went into to the lead in the opening minutes of the second half with a free from Dean Kelly, but it wouldn't be until the 45th minute that the next score of the game would come.
Kelly also went on to score the only other two points for his side in the second half.
Substitute Niall McCready scored the goal which proved to mark the turnaround for Aodh Ruadh as two more goals followed from Conor Patton, who gave an outstanding performance, and another substitute Shane Ward who scored the fourth goal and sealed the deal for Aodh Ruadh.
