Aodh Ruadh 3-6
Red Hugh's 0-9
Páirc Aodh Rua, Killygordon
The reserves turned in a turbo-charged second half to get a deserved away win at the Crossroads, running out 3-6 to 0-9 winners. The sides were tied at 0-5 apiece at half time, but Gerard McIntyre set the tone for the second half striking for an early goal. Ryan Granaghan then went on to add some polish to a fine performance with the Ernesider's second goal, before Niall Thomas administered the coup de grace in the closing stages of the game. Defensively Aidan Murray had a stormer at full back, with Ronan Matthews and Ciaran Slevin also delivering strong performances. The midfield pairing of Matthew Thompson and James O'Donnell got the better of the battle in the middle third. Up front Mickey McNeely showed good promise in his first game taking care of the free-taking duties, with a high kicking success ratio.
