Under 21 B Football Championship
4 September 2013
Aodh Ruadh 0-20
Naomh Mhuire 0-4
John Hughes reports fromn MacCumhaill Park, Ballybofey

Like buses, you wait eight years for a win and then two come along in a week. Aodh Ruadh under 21s romped to a convincing 0-20 to 0-4 B Championship win over Buncrana in MacCumhaill Park last Wednesday. Aodh Ruadh asserted control early and maintained it throughout. Kieran Keown had a fine game and scored two inspirational points heading into the break to help the Ernesiders to a 0-9 to 0-2 half-time lead. Ryan Granaghan's hard running and work paid off in second half with two excellent long range points. There was also really excellent performance from Ronan McGurrin in midfield who hit two screamers of points. The full back line were worthy of mention too, having dealt well with a very tall Buncrana attacking unit. Aodh Ruadh now await the winners of Red Hugh's and Naomh Columba in the next round.
